Imagine filming Tree climbing lions and Mountain Gorillas on the Uganda safari. Mountain Gorillas are found in Bwindi impenetrable national Park and tree climbing lions in Ishasha sector.  The two areas are destined in south western Uganda making it easier to connect from one another.

Day 1: Entebbe Airport – Transfer to Ishasha sector

On arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be welcomed by our professional safari guide/ driver and drive to Ishasha sector. En route lunch in Mbarara town and proceed to Ishasha sector for dinner and overnight at Enjojo Lodge or Ishasha Jungle Lodge.

Day 2 – 3: Tree climbing lions filming

After breakfast drive through Ishasha sector to look for the tree climbing lions. Meet the tree climbing lions and carryout filming. It’s a two days excursion because the lions move freely in their natural habitat so you need at least two days to secure views.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, drive to the home of mountain Gorillas (Bwindi Impenetrable National Park). Dinner and overnight at Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge, Silver Back Lodge or Chameleon Hill Lodge.

Day 5: Gorilla filming

After breakfast, drive to the park headquarters for briefing. Thereafter, walk to meet gorillas in their natural habitat. Spend time filming gorillas in Bwindi impenetrable National Park.  Return to your respective accommodation for lunch, relax as you wait for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Drive back to Entebbe Airport – Departure

Have a cup of tea/ coffee – drive at leisure back to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight home.
