Lake Mburo National park is the samallest savanna park in Uganda at the size of 370km2 . Its conveniently situated along Kampala – Mbarara road in Kiruhura District. Lake Mburo was once dominated by open savanna, now contains much woodland as there are no elephants to control the vegetation. In the western part of the park, the savanna is interspersed with rocky ridges and forested gorges while patches of papyrus swamp and narrow bands of lush riparian woodland line many lakes.

Filmmakers require media accreditation or media permit from Uganda Media Council. Crystal Fixers Uganda will assist you in processing of Media card. More so, you need location card and since Lake Mburo is managed by Uganda wildlife Authority, the filming crew must sigh filming contract with UWA. Make all the necessary payments and also filming gear clearances at the Airports and ground boarders.
