Filming in Bwindi Forest

Bwindi Forest is situated in far south western Uganda at the size of 127.8 mi². The forest is dense, ever green with canopy trees. The forest was gazetted into National Park in 1992. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a hiding out destination for many tourist attractions which attracts filmmakers. Below are some of the attractions in Bwindi which catches the eyes of the filmmakers:

Mountain Gorillas – with largest number of habituated and non habituated gorilla families. The  gorilla families are composed of male gorillas, female gorillas, juvenile and young gorillas. Filmmaker get attracted by the gorilla groups to take pictures in motion in Bwindi forest.

Below the forest, there are mainly Neoboutonia, Xymalos, Myrianthus holstii, Monospora and many others. Filming birds requires some techniques because birds fly faster. For that case, the fast cameras with powerful lenses are recommended.
